Measurement of Hemoglobin A©û in Diabetic Patients

Abstract
The reliability of Hb A1 (G-Hb) method employing the column chromatography was tested, and a comparative analysis was carried out to clarify the relationship between blood sugar value and the test result.
The experiment showed:
l. The reproducibility of Hb A1 method produced by the samples showed excellent outcome with CV value of 3.84% and 3.5% each.
2. All the test data obtained against the controls, both high and low concentrations, fell into the acceptable limit.
3. The experiment proved that the specimens can stored at refrigerator temperature for two days without deterioration of the constituents, and the color reaction of the eluate was found to be stable for 60 minutes.
4. The test results had been compared with that of other countries, and no mentionable discrepancy was noticed (p>0.05).
